When using TrustCamera, the following data is processed:

• Photos: Photos you take are transferred to our servers for processing and verification.
• Location: With your consent, the device location at the time of capture is recorded.
• Timestamp: The time of capture is automatically recorded.
• Hash: A unique digital fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) is generated from the photo and stored on the blockchain.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

Data is processed exclusively for the purpose of photo verification. This includes:

• Creation of a digital fingerprint (hash) of the photo
• Storage of the hash on the blockchain
• AI-based check for image manipulation
• Verification of authenticity based on stored data

4. Storage and Deletion

Photos and associated metadata are stored on protected servers. Blockchain entries (hashes) are immutable due to the nature of the blockchain and cannot be deleted. The photos themselves can be deleted upon request.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When visiting the website, technical data (IP address, browser type, access time) is automatically stored in server log files.

7. Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyze website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your device. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization, so your IP address is shortened beforehand within the EU.
